What is the Wave Trade Up Program?

The Wave Trade Up Program allows riders to trade in eligible communication devices and receive a credit toward the purchase of select new Sena products. Whether you’re upgrading from an older Sena model or switching from a competitor brand, this program offers a clear path to the next level of rider technology.

Do I need to purchase from a specific source to qualify?

Yes. Your new 60S, Stryker, or Impulse must be purchased directly from store-us.sena.com. Purchases from third-party resellers, dealers, or marketplaces are not eligible.

What are my credit options?

When filling out your application form, you can choose one of the following rebate options:

Original Form of Payment: Receive a direct credit to the payment method used for your new Sena purchase.

 

Store Credit with Bonus: Opt for a Sena gift card instead and receive a 20% bonus on your rebate amount, based on the MSRP tier of your trade-in device.

Why does Sena accept competitor units?

We believe in the inclusion of all riders, regardless of brand. The Wave Trade Up Program is a way for more riders to experience the Sena difference in performance, innovation, and connectivity. We welcome your journey, no matter where it began.

Does my trade-in need to be operational?

No. Operational status is not required. However, the device must be verifiable as an eligible model upon receipt.

Do I need to send in accessories?

No. Only the main device unit is required. You may retain accessories such as mounts, chargers, and cables.

Can I trade in a communication system and purchase a helmet, or vice versa?

Yes. There are no product-type restrictions. You may trade in a communication unit and apply the credit toward a helmet, or trade in a helmet-integrated unit and purchase a standalone device.

How does the trade-up process work?
  1. Purchase a qualifying new Sena product (60S, Stryker, or Impulse) from sena.com
  2. Submit your trade-up application through the Wave Trade Up Portal
  3. Ship your device using the pre-paid shipping label provided after approval
  4. Receive a credit to your original form of payment once your unit has been received and verified

Is there a deadline to participate?

Yes. The program is limited-time only. Applications must be submitted before the published program deadline as listed on store-us.sena.com. Late applications will not be accepted.

Is this program available outside the United States?

No. The Wave Trade Up Program is available only to customers within the contiguous 48 U.S. states. Residents of Alaska, Hawaii, and U.S. territories are currently not eligible.

When will I receive my credit?

Once Sena receives and verifies your trade-in device, credit will be processed to your original payment method within 10 business days.

How will I be notified of approval?

You will receive an email confirmation once your trade-in has been approved and your credit has been issued.
